Ambroise is old enough, and ready enough, to travel with the other men in his village on a trading expedition. One night, while Ambroise’s father plays the fiddle, the Red River Jig is born. Soon, Ambroise learns how to jig and play the fiddle, just like his dad. Today, each generation is taught how to dance the Red River Jig, just like Ambroise was long ago.
