A spider professes its love for the squirrel next door, and an interspecies
courtship unfolds between the two do-eyed neighbours. This stop-motion
animation is a testament that there is truly someone for everyone and that
love is species blind.

This animated short was made for Hothouse 4, the NFB’s program for
emerging filmmakers, whose central theme was “Chance Encounter”.
