520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc Little Bear is a retelling of a traditional story about a white bear that comes to live with an old woman in a small village after his mother is killed by a hunter. As Little Bear grows older, he begins to hunt with the men of the village and, because of him, the people of the village always have food to eat. Hunters in a nearby village become very jealous. One hunter attacks Little Bear, who then injures the hunter when defending himself. Little Bear is forced to leave the woman to go to live in the wild. Before he goes, she puts a mark on him so that she will always recognize him.<br/>
