Contracted braille.
When Sam hears Helen play the piano, he is entranced. Knowing that his mother could never afford music lessons, Sam tries to persuade Helen to teach him; but Helen, the daughter of a famous conductor, is not going to waste her talent on a shabby creature like Sam. It isn't until Helen's haughty manner attracts the attention of the class bullies that Sam comes up with an offer that she is forced to accept, and the two strike a bargain that will change both their lives forever.
