Contracted braille.
Fenn survives a plane crash in which his parents die. Sent to live with a geologist aunt in a distant, mountainous part of the world, he wanders off and has a fall. Recued by Arkon, a Yeti, and taken to the Yeti kingdom, Fenn recovers and learns to live a gentle, Yeti life. Through them, Fenn learns to be less bitter about his parents' death.
